Rice and beans are often eaten together in Nigeria because they complement each other. I see this from the lens of cybersecurity, where no single security measure is enough.

Whether you are in leadership or an individual working in an organization, you need layers of security.

These can include:

• Passwords
• Multi-factor authentication
• Firewalls
• Encryption
• Antivirus/endpoint protection
• User awareness
• Backups
• Monitoring

Over the weekend, I took some time to reflect on the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 by the World Economic Forum.
One statement immediately stood out to me:

into an organization.
The question is no longer whether AI will change cybersecurity. It already has.
The real question is whether we are building the awareness, governance, and resilience needed to keep pace with that change.
