Conclusion ✍️
Overall, this is a very smart and exciting business from Spurs, that aligns with the exciting direction that the club under Postecoglou have been going in the past couple months.
Under Johan Lange, Spurs have been recruiting young players with high potential who have been playing regularly in the first team, such as Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall. Signing Yang is consistent with this trend, so it is good to know that the club are operating with a clear strategy and in an exciting direction.
Profile-wise, Yang is a great fit for Spurs, as he ticks many boxes to play in Postecoglou’s system that requires wingers to be direct, energetic, and explosive, while still being a goal threat.
Although the lack of transfer business in past few weeks may have seen many fans rather frustrated and Yang’s transfer may take some patience and time to eventually shine, there is certainly a plenty of reasons to be excited about the arrival Yang Minhyuk.
After all, a young winger from South Korea could never go wrong for Spurs, right? 😉🇰🇷✨
