@VivaFarming Imagine if someone had already invented something that could turn indigestible grass into highly digestible nutritious fat / protein mins and vitamins whilst fertilising the grass and in so doing sequestering carbon. Oh wait 🐮🐑🤷🏻🙈😂

@fordcows@JoeDelves@robdvet@CattleBreeders Hi. We were already milking black and white herd2x. setting up oad herd didn’t make the day longer just am milking. Made better use of machine and further away grazing. No cost in concrete only cows. Could do with a few ac of sand to calve them on at dairy then I’d be laughing!
@fordcows Hi Matt. All still outside at the moment. Will start calving last week in Feb. Will be housed off site(no room at dairy) 15-20 Feb to calve then out on grass. Soon as dry enough calve outside at dairy. May have to supplement with either parlour cake or silage to start lactation
