BREAKING: Donald Trump's Press Secretary announces that starting tomorrow the United States will place disastrous 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada as well as 10% tariffs on China — and already the stock market is dipping.

Trump promised to lower grocery prices. Instead he'll skyrocket them...

"Friends at Reuters are reporting that the president has made a decision on the Canada and Mexico tariffs but that they won't actually be implemented until March 1st. I was wondering if you could confirm that and talk through some of the president's thinking there," asked a reporter.

"I saw that report and it is false," said Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. "I was just with the president in the Oval Office and I can confirm that tomorrow the February 1st deadline that President Trump put into place in a statement several weeks ago continues."

"The president will be implementing tomorrow 25% tariffs on Mexico, 25% tariffs on Canada, and a 10% tariff on China, uh, for the illegal fentanyl that they have sourced and allowed to distribute into our country which has killed tens of millions of Americans," she continued. "These are promises made and promises kept by the president."

Fox News has already admitted that there was a stock market selloff due to the tariffs announcement—

"Uh there was a bit of a market reaction. You can see the Dow off more than 200 points," said the Fox host.

"You’ll see right about the time she confirmed that these will begin tomorrow shortly after the 1 o'clock Eastern Time Hour, that’s when you saw the Dow sell off," she added.

This is only the beginning. If these tariffs are put in place and maintained, the entire economy will suffer. Prices will explode and average Americans will be left holding the bag for Trump's incompetence.
