Search and AI answer engines are for fast facts and directions. Decisions still happen where trust lives: on your site. When stakes are real, people open tabs to compare, read your story, see proof, feel the vibes, and take action.

AI can summarize information, but it can’t summarize you. It won’t carry your guarantees, pricing nuance, onboarding flow, case studies, or the thousand details that signal credibility. If AI gives the facts, your site gives the confidence.

So stop treating zero-click as a traffic apocalypse. Treat it as a filter. Let search and answer engines handle casual visits, and make the remaining clicks count with clear positioning, evidence, and an easy next step. Be the definitive source and the place to act.

What to do now:

• Design for evaluation, not just discovery (social proof, pricing, demos, FAQs).
