Jurgen Klopp's last game as Liverpool manager is Sunday. 😰
Danke schön, Jurgen. In your own words: "[We] will never forget you, and [we] will miss you like hell."
And well said, Barney Ronay: https://t.co/woQGLdQi4i
Brilliant piece from Barney Ronay as always:
“ …Fellaini had been available earlier in the window, but ended up being bundled in through the saloon doors at a panic-buy price, the football equivalent of petrol station flowers on Valentine’s Day…” 😂😂

So now I have to be happy for Patrick Reed? I have to love hokum, shotgun start, no-cut, clown-car three-day glorified member-guests starring guys in shorts and team NASCAR shirts? I have to like the bloody Saudis hanging out at the Masters? No. Never.
I visited K’gari several times when I lived in Australia … it is a beautiful place.
“ … K’gari’s official name change corrects a historic wrong …”

Good luck, Ange … you deserve it. I’m not a Spurs fan but, with you at the helm, Spurs can definitely become a genuinely big club again. Melbourne should be proud tonight.

What Jack said to Rory: "We need to sit down and talk sometime."
What he meant: At some point I need you to walk me through how you can miss so many greens from 97 yards away.
Well said, Paul McGinley. Clear-eyed commentary, based on the facts, from a great guy.
“You’re leaving to start a rival competitive tour to the one you’re already on, and if you do that, there’ll be repercussions…”

This is a disgrace. Mourinho needs to come out and aggressively condemn this disgusting violence (which he stoked) towards a referee (and his family ffs)! If not, Mourinho should be banned from football for life.
I get that it's usually a few scumbags who do this kind of thing in club fanbases but since the Sean Cox incident in 2018, I don't have much respect for Roma fans, this is far too frequent with some of their supporters, horrible to see, not a nice experience for Anthony Taylor and his family.
Best World Cup song ever. And what a World Cup 1990 was. Ancient history now sadly, but the happiest of memories. And Schillaci is still a twat!! How could he …??
Caroline Elkins' excellent critique of the history of the British Empire in "Legacy of Violence" is a must read. Britain’s use of systematic violence in Ireland, Palestine, India (and everywhere they claimed "empire") is horrific & can never be forgiven:

Congrats to Man City!
Now, who did the 3-peat best?
Huddersfield (20's)?
Arsenal (30's)?
Liverpool (80's)?
MU (00's)? or
MC (20's)?
Liverpool (no rich clubs)?
MU ($$ from commercial heft)?
MC (state-backed enterprise of bottomless wealth)?
Discuss!
