Everyone deserves the freedom to live fully, authentically and safely. We stand with @CFE_Uganda to reject this unlawful, deadly, anti-African agenda.
Join us on Tuesday to #SayNoToAHB23!
@NYCMayor@NYCMayorsOffice@GoodShepherdNYC is concerned about the directive banning runaway & unhoused youth from resting @ drop-in centers overnight. Forcing them to stay up is punitive & a deterrent from seeking shelter, putting them in danger.@nychyorg https://t.co/ke0Mn8Vbjf
Definition of cruel: depriving runaway and homeless youth of an opportunity to lay their heads down for a couple of hours.
Removing drop-in center cots is unconscionable. I expect better from our city. @SafeHorizon@nychyorg@AliForneyCenter@katie_honan

Our youth deserve safe places to rest. @Nycyouth please show young people experiencing homelessness some love this #ValentinesDay by rescinding your directive. 💕

Like we mentioned before (see recent reels) National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (aka #NBHAAD) is February 7th.
We’re kicking off a month of activities first at our W 37st location.
National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (Feb 7) is a day to address the impact of HIV on Black communities. Together, we can make HIV Black history by working to overcome structural barriers to HIV testing, prevention, and treatment.
