@MacroFour@drterrysimpson That’s a small study obviously. People with low triglycerides can still get fatty liver. Also hepatic fat content is not related to outcome. Rather it’s the amount of liver fibrosis. That study was 2011. So it must have been confirmed in a larger study right?
@wells_sl@MeghanMcCain@60Minutes Ridiculous take. She’s a know nothing partisan that destroyed the show. If you can’t see that you are as blind as a bat.
@toxoplasmodium@desanto_john@promise__li What are you talking about? You have posts supporting other politicians. But for some reason which you fail to explain you have something against Mejia? Just say why!
@MacroFour@drterrysimpson Yeah.Let me tell you - lots of things are hypothesized in lots of articles. Doesn’t make them all https://t.co/Lv6shthorR can even have high quality articles with contradictory mechanisms. Shocking. I know. 1 article almost never is the final word on anything.
@kopiglo@brooklynnygirl@grok And yet he did exactly what you claim he didn’t. Also he is limited by his budget which he has no control over. Takes manpower to audit everything.
@MacroFour@drterrysimpson But if you look at the totality of the evidence you cannot make the claim that keto is better than Mediterranean for fatty liver.
@MacroFour@drterrysimpson There are two effects:
1. Weight loss
2. Reduction in high fat food
Nothing is as beneficial as losing weight.
But reduction in high fat food also may be beneficial even without weight loss.
Some studies suggest a keto diet is better, other’s suggest Mediterranean.
