FOX rules analyst Mike Pereira told The Athletic that the ending of the BYU-Notre Dame game was “embarrassing for all officiating” and that Notre Dame should “get one more play.”

The Irish were at the center of two officiating controversies Saturday night: a potential missed defensive pass interference call and questions over whether one second should have remained on the clock after the final play.

The Big 12 announced that it will conduct a "complete review" of its end-of-game officiating process in the Notre Dame-BYU game after determining that time remained on the clock when the ball hit the ground and the play was incorrectly cleared by the replay crew.
