MSU is one of the few P4 schools to win 11+ games 6+ times the last 20 years.

In 2021, they had the 2nd-highest paid coach in the country.

In 2023, their donors offered to make Urban Meyer the highest paid coach in the history of American sports.

MSU integrated the sport and has won 6 national championships.

But for some reason, people pretend they’re a glorified community college and their fans are insane for wanting to win and believing it’s possible.

Many Spartans have fallen victim to the gaslighting.

They said Jonathan Smith could win 8 games in Year 3, and they said it like it was a good thing.

I guess that’s what happens when everyone in media nominates guys like Pat Shurmur and Jason Candle for the position. You start to believe you are a joke, and that you ought to be grateful to chase an 8-4 dream.

Never mind Urban Meyer was on MSU’s campus the same week these articles were printed.

MSU was lucky to get Smith, and their fans should be grateful he took their call and saved them from hiring the offensive coordinator at Okemos High.

Even Spartans forget what the Spartans were, and can be again.
