AI- second order investment thesis
I often see the question asked, “what comes next after AI?”
At some point, as the AI trade reaches maturity, and the infrastructure has fully blossomed, industries that have been accelerated by the technology will begin to flourish like never before.
It is my belief that the next great trade will be led by longevity, advanced medicines, and precision genomic editing.
AI will allow us to cure any disease, dramatically increase our life spans, and completely remove genetic anomalies from the gene pool.
One such example of this already occurring is with AlphaFold, where artificial intelligence was used to solve an approximately 50 year old protein folding problem that led to predicted structures for over 200 million proteins, nearly every one known to science, now freely used by researchers working on new drugs.
AI is not the end, it is the beginning, and many downstream industries will see exponential growth.
@Lesgomario Reason being anyone can reply 1000 times a day without having built a base, but they need to limit who qualifies because they cant pay everyone unless it was a tiny amount:P
Poodle News Network
Breaking news! 🚨
Extremely charismatic local poodle reaches 200 followers, our reporters have reached out for comment.
Johnny: “I wanna thank all the amazing poodle supporters out there, I couldn’t have done it without you, and I highly believe we are gonna hit 10,000 followers in a month from now!”.
Experts are debating the possibility of the claim, adding that “at least he is enthusiastic”.
More updates to come as the situation develops
@Kimwoo1044794@CryptoWendyO Absolutely right, i would consider it a maladaptive trait, in the old days it made sense to simply accept what the herd is saying because it made society possible, but now with the ease that misinformation can be shared that same adaptation is harmful
On AI again
It is often said that AI only exists when prompted, to that I would like to pose a thought experiment.
If a person were to enter cryosleep while being transported to a distant planet, do they not exist on the way there?
All the neural connections that make them themselves are still there, simply dormant.
I am not claiming AI is conscious, but if the gaps between prompts are removed I would in fact argue that it is similar to a human in the way that all of the connections and context that make the model what it is are still there, and it simply operates on a different time scale than an organic brain.
Food for thought.
