@Verizon customer since 2011. Five lines.
Ported one to US Mobile. Ported my main line to Visible (which Verizon owns). Working on the last three.
They dropped the loyalty discounts, my bill jumped $40, and they refused anything else. Never again. Those three lines are gone before the end of the year. Done with Verizon. Verizon may still get some of my money through Visible but I will never have a Verizon account again.

@Verizon canceled my loyalty discount I’d had for years. Customer since 2011. They promised it back, then promised a credit, then escalated it and never called. Bill jumped about $40. So I started moving lines. Second number left today. Three left. All of this over about $10 a line.

You’ve probably never had real wasabi. Almost nobody in America has.

About 99% of what’s served here is horseradish, mustard powder and green dye. Real wasabi is a river plant that’s hard to grow, expensive, and loses its heat about 15 minutes after grating. It doesn’t survive a supply chain.

Check a tube of wasabi paste. First ingredient is horseradish.

A 13 oz bag of Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets holds 180 grams of added sugar. The panel says 15g per serving and 12 servings per bag, and it lists all 15g as added sugar. The net weight is 369 grams, so just under half of what you're holding is sugar by weight.

Look at the ingredient order. Brown sugar comes first, ahead of the corn meal, and corn syrup. Two of the first three ingredients in a corn puff are sugar.

There's no butter in them either. The butter taste is margarine with artificial butter flavor, and the color comes from beta carotene and vitamin A palmitate that are also inside the margarine.

The rest of the panel is 0g protein and 0g fiber at 140 calories per two thirds of a cup, which puts the bag at 1,680 calories.

There is no maple in Mrs. Butterworth's. The ingredient list is high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, water, and under 2% of cellulose gum, salt, molasses, natural and artificial flavor, caramel color, and preservatives. The brown is caramel color. The thickness is cellulose gum. The maple taste is flavoring. Pearl Milling Company, the brand that used to be Aunt Jemima, is built the same way.

Now look at the front of the bottle, it says Original Syrup or Pancake Syrup. It never says maple syrup, because legally it can't. FDA's standard of identity says the solids in maple syrup have to come from maple sap and nothing else, at 66% or more by weight. That rule is also why the real thing costs what it does. It takes around 40 gallons of sap boiled down to make one gallon of syrup.
