@Pyth_of_Samos@flightradar24 No call signs for the CRJ? Crazy! As a heli, PAC25 could have simply stopped. ATC monitoring on military and civilian frequencies is another hole in the swiss cheese. CRJ was cleared to dog leg to and land 33. https://t.co/bcYBMYE9Cm
🚨 #BREAKING: Just 24 HOURS before an American Airlines flight collided with a Blackhawk at Reagan National Airport, ANOTHER American flight had to abort landing due to a helicopter crossing its flight path at the same airport
AA4514 can be seen on radar having to go around a make a second attempt, and is currently under investigation.
This should NOT be happening!
As a retired padre, I offer my thoughts, reflections and prayer 12 hours after this tragic and senseless accident, not least of all for the US Figure Skating Team community. #washingtondc#usfigureskating#JIA5342#potomacriver

@2_amaechi Unbelievable: Amid the mayhem, seems like EVERYONE is still watching their favourite movie! Meanwhile NO ONE seen taking charge to calm the pax. #UnitedAirlines flight #UA613 after loss of altitude incident (appx. 175 feet).
As we gathered for our meeting at the White House yesterday, JD Vance mentioned to us that he had never before visited the Oval Office. I told him and President Trump that I HAD to capture the moment on video. Only in America can a hardworking young man from Appalachia rise from his humble circumstances to enter the Oval for first time as VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. What a country! 🇺🇸
Yet another aviation tragedy. I had commented upon the large number of runway excursions this winter less than 2 hours prior to the accident (see my screenshot) which occurred just after our midnight GMT, Sun. 29/12/2024. Prayers & thoughts #jejuair#flight2216#runwayexcursion
@flightradar24 Reports of shrapnel. Might be an uncontained engine failure or enemy actor. An assumption, but it's unlikely the flight crew survived as it was a fireball as soon as it hit the ground. The rear portion of the airframe separated on impact and did not suffer a fire.
