“We need the light of the Holy Spirit continually, day by day, as you have been told hundreds of times. How easy it would be for your leaders to lead you to destruction, unless you actually know the mind and will of the Spirit yourselves. That is your privilege.“

So much love and respect for BYU @kalanifsitake @Pouha91 and the people of Provo.

From the minute we parked, it was “Welcome to Provo,” “Good luck today,” “Go Cats.” People offered us food and drinks from their tailgates. Inside the stadium, same thing even ice cream at 2nd quarter . And their crowd was electric

I sat in ADA seating with my father in law and he was wearing his Fifita #1 jersey. People constantly checked on him and treated him with nothing but respect, even when Arizona made a play. They probably thought i was his care giver, lol.

Made me think, this is what real competition should look like. Welcome people into your home, treat them with respect and grace, then when the ball is kicked off, try to knock each other’s heads off.

We hosted our first league games Sunday , six games from 9AM–7PM. I told our staff: make everyone feel welcome. If someone genuinely can’t pay at the door, let them in. Let them watch their kid.

If we want to change the culture at the high school and college level, it starts in youth .

And I don’t think it’s a coincidence faith is at the center of BYU’s culture. Jesus welcomed everyone to His table.

Compete hard. Cheer loud. Want to win BAD. But still love people.

Appreciate the love , Provo.

An anonymous agent had high praise for BYU HC Kalani Sitake:

“Sitake doesn’t get enough credit,” a third agent said. “He was going to get the Penn State job and now they’re set up for two more really good years of high-level success (at BYU). They consistently find good quarterbacks. He’s done a better job than just about anyone for the situation he’s in.”

This man is the best of us. There is nobody better than Kalani Sitake for BYU.
