Catherine’s knowledge of humanity was always at the center of her comedy, no matter how absurd the character or loopy the material. She could play heartless because she was warm, brainless because she was brilliant, careless because she truly cared. Everyone loved her and everyone learned from her. This is a deep loss.
I'm sorry that some marketing genius at Backerkit convinced so many companies to go along with this idea.
If I want to buy Christmas gifts from any of these companies, they ALL have websites with stores.
I hate this so much.

Warning: I am grumpy!
So, today I found out that Backerkit (a crowdfunding site) somehow convinced *150* different companies that it would be a good idea for them ALL to launch crowdfunding projects on the SAME DAY as part of their "Holiday Marketplace" promotion.
Did anyone think this through?
I have supported a ton of crowdfunding projects. I don't know the number, but it's over 100 now. But there is no way in hell I am going to even *look* at six new ones on the same day.
RIP Dame Patricia Routledge 😥
I posted this back in May and it went down a storm, both with those who remembered Kitty from Victoria Wood on TV and those who were new to the character.
As sad as it is to lose somebody as talented and, dare I say as iconic as Dame Patricia Routledge, we will always have her legacy. And what a legacy that is. Keeping up Appearances, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads, et al. And that’s just TV. For her work on the stage she won an Olivier Award and a Tony. She was also awarded more doctorates than you could wave a stick it, which won’t surprise anyone.
Dame Patricia’s final honour, which was awarded to her just last year, was the Freedom of the Borough of Wirrall. Surely it should have been Cheadle!
God bless Patricia Routledge x
@VicNekolover@newbiedm Weapon mastery is a whole new rules subset that makes the PCs stronger and slows down combat. It increases the number of creatures with conditions like prone or disadvantage that the DM has to keep track of. I hate it.
Don't know about you but I feel pretty badly about this stat: "The share of U.S. adults having dinner or drinks with friends on any given night has declined by more than 30 percent in the past 20 years." Here's the @TheAtlantic article on an awful trend in American life: https://t.co/eTxaJHLK9j
