⚠️ DCENT SECURITY UPDATE ⚠️

DCENT has issued new instructions about unusual asset transfers in regard to the DCENT App wallet (software HOT wallet).

As stated by DCENT, at this time, there is no proof of any issue with DCENT hardware wallets, and their investigation is ongoing.

If you have used the DCENT App wallet:

• Update your DCENT App to the latest version v10.0.0

• Don't perform any transaction in the App wallet until you've updated it

• Once you've updated, transfer your assets to a wallet that you control and that has never used the same recovery phrase as your App wallet

These instructions also apply to App wallet users who have used the recovery phrase of their App wallet in a hardware wallet in the past.

If you use a DCENT hardware wallet and have never inputted its recovery phrase into the DCENT App wallet, DCENT says no further action is required from your part at this time.

Please also be very careful about possible phishing or impersonation attacks. DCENT would never ask for your recovery phrase/private key or transfer your assets to an address for recovery or compensation.

For questions or updates, please rely on DCENT’s official channels rather than speculation or information circulating through DMs.
