@LLyck Because these metrics take everything into account a player does on the field (at least what is tracked) and weight it in different ways.
One reason I invented the PlayScore was the focus on goal scoring by most people to evalute a players performance.

Who were the best men #handball field players at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games?
With the help of the HPI, the PlayerScore und a third metric, which is based on the PlayerScore, I calculated a rang per position.

@steinsport Spannend.
Hauptsache gewonnen 😊

[Oliver Brosig @Johnny_Sevilla]

@steinsport Fandest du die Schiris schlecht? Für mich eine der besten Leistungen
1. der beiden
2. in einem Ko-Spiel überhaupt der letzten Jahre.
Selten so wenig „Redebedarf“ bei beiden Mannschaften gesehen.

[Oliver Brosig @Johnny_Sevilla]

Mein Player of the Match: Emil Nielsen.

The two best players according to metrics like PlayerScore or HPI are Bence Imre 🇭🇺 and Sigvaldi Gudjonsson 🇮🇸.
They are not even on the list 😱🤦🏼‍♂️. Thought the times are over that those nominations are not based on facts.
