BACK TO SCHOOL PACK FOR SCHOOL PUPILS IN ANAMBRA.
Our plan was to share these back to school packs to the pupils before my work trip but the delivery was delayed so please, help me to take this message to the pupils in the different primary schools in Anambra.
Let them know that Johnny Metchie Foundation will be visiting different schools with 30,000 school bags and text books, for the students who need it most. This is to motivate the pupils to take their studies seriously and help secure their studying materials.
By the grace of God, in our next batch, we will cover other schools in the different communities in Nigeria.
I implore you to please look out for the poor school kids around you and put a smile on their faces 🙏

On Tuesday, I had the honour of joining our gallant Commander General of the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS), Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin, along with other distinguished officers of the service, on a courtesy visit to the Alake of Egbaland, His Royal Majesty Oba Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, at his magificent Royal Palace in the historic city of Abeokuta.
His Royal Majesty, a revered monarch and symbol of wisdom and stability, received us with grace and dignity. He used the occasion to commend the relentless efforts of the NFSS in addressing insecurity within the forest regions across the nation and also expressed confidence in the agency’s mission and affirmed that, with its ongoing commitment, the NFSS would soon receive the full backing of the Federal Government.
In his remarks, the Commander General praised the Oba for his remarkable leadership and enduring role in promoting peace and unity across Egbaland and beyond. He also acknowledged the vital role traditional rulers play in strengthening community security. Furthermore, he called on the President to assent to the bill establishing the NFSS, emphasizing that the agency has the structure, vision, and capacity to serve effectively as the National Forest Guard.
We are sincerely thankful to His Royal Majesty for the warm reception, wise counsel, and steadfast support. His exemplary leadership and commitment to peace and progress remain a source of inspiration. His gracious endorsement of the NFSS mission strengthens our resolve and affirms the importance of our mandate.

*Amb. John Metchie Calls on President Tinubu to Support Governor Soludo’s Vision for Anambra*
As the President General of Umueri and a proud son of Anambra East, I, Amb. John Metchie, was honored to join our traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty Igwe Sir Ben Izuchukwu Emeka, during the recent historic visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Anambra State.
This visit provided a powerful opportunity to voice the collective will of our people: a call for the Federal Government to stand in full partnership with Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, as he works tirelessly to deliver the dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra.
Governor Soludo has shown extraordinary leadership, foresight, and dedication. His ongoing infrastructural and socioeconomic reforms are setting the stage for a brighter, more prosperous Anambra. However, to deepen and sustain this transformation, federal support is critical.
In line with this, I openly declare my support—and that of our community—for Governor Soludo’s re-election. We believe he deserves another four years to complete the noble mission he has begun and to anchor lasting development for our state.
As leaders and stakeholders, our goal is a better Anambra, built on unity, progress, and good governance. With the support of President Tinubu, and through strong collaboration across all levels, we are confident that the future of Anambra is bright.
Long live Umueri. Long live Anambra State. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Signed:
Amb. John Metchie
President General, Umueri

COMMUNITY LEADER ATTRIBUTES UNIFIED SUPPORT FOR SOLUDO TO TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP
As Anambra State looks forward to November, 2025 election, a community leader, Amb John Chukwudi Metchie has attributed the alignment and unifying of Anambra eggheads to support the Governor despite party affiliations, to Governor Soludo’s transformational leadership in the State.
The community leader, who is also the President General of Umueri and ASATU Traditional Prime Minister, in his philosophical ‘Ife Omambala Chat Series’ re-echoed the events that followed the third anniversary town hall meetings of Governor Soludo in office.
Stating that the truth is being told, Metchie commended the leaders of thought and political elites of Anambra for rallying together to support @CCSoludo to continue his intentional and transformational leadership in the State.
Metchie, the Ezi Umueri and Ife Omambala averred that “our team followed Mr. Governor’s entourage to Lagos and Abuja on his account of stewardship and reportage of his 3 Years of Intentional and Transformational Leadership in Anambra State

@CCSoludo Visits Prominent Prince Arthur Eze
@CCSoludo has paid a high-profile visit to the esteemed Prince Engr—Arthur Eze (Ozo Igbo Ndu) at his residence in Abuja. Arthur Eze is a prominent Nigerian businessman, billionaire, and energy executive, serving as the CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum.
During the visit, Prince Arthur Eze commended Soludo’s intentional and transformative governance over the past three years, highlighting that he achieved this without borrowing any funds. He endorsed Soludo’s administration for a second term.
Additionally, he cautioned Ndi Anambra against politicians who do not have the state’s best interests at heart. He specifically warned opposition members to stay away from the upcoming off-cycle governorship election scheduled for November 8, asserting that @CCSoludo has brought positive change to the state and therefore deserves re-election.
