@indycarpodcast So, if you want to add Kentucky, for example, you're going to have to revive it. Texas...IndyCar was there and got kicked out. Chicago is owned by NASCAR. Richmond...NASCAR. New Hampshire...Speedway etc. etc. They're at IMS, Gateway, Milwaukee (non NASCAR or Speedway properties)

If the SAVE act were just about showing a valid I.D., it would pass, but that’s not what the bill is about at all. A smart political party would actually pivot and simply make the bill about a simple valid photo I.D. But the bill includes what appear to be intentional poison pills so that it CANNOT pass and they instead think they have an issue to run on. It’s really just poorly executed legis and political strategy by this WH, which I’m sure Thune’s office would agree with but can’t quite say it as directly.

St. Pete/season opener date set for next season. Not that this was really in question, but this confirms that IndyCar has indeed extended the contract for the race, which expired this year.
