Here's a cool one. Did you know Blackbeard's famous line "In a world without gold, we might have been heroes" was originally much longer.

However, during mocap it wasn't working naturally in performance, so the performance director told Darby McDevitt that he had 5 minutes to rewrite it. And so the final line, "In a world without gold, we might have been heroes", was created right there on the floor of the mocap studio.
