@NWischoff Tried to build this with @my_villy and learned a TON about both parent and sitter psychology. It’s pretty complicated and also varies on type of need (one of/emergency sitter vs regular nanny-type care). I tried to focus on the former. Would love to try again with partners.
@turtledumplin This is the exact sentiment of all the “held my nose and noted Trump” people I know. It wasn’t about who they agreed with more, rather who they feared more
@iamnot_elon B) No
Getting tired of sifting through trash (angry extreme content) to still enjoy the remnant of good (genuine thought exchange) on this app.
@suffiyanmalikk@sabakarimm Yes! While hilarious it’s not grounding. The worst part is trying to dovetail a meme into a convo which either gets ignored or simply reacted to.
@FracSlap This is why I stick with rescues. Less crazy from all the inbreeding. A breed doesn’t guarantee anything. Also this floof is only teatthirsty 🙃
@AmandaMGoetz And for whatever it’s worth. I’ve worked in tech for a while now (mostly fully remote companies). There’s no app or PO initiative that creates team connections like irl does. And I have a coworking space, but it’s not the same as people you actually work with.
@AmandaMGoetz I miss it a lot. I love the flexibility I have now, but like most things what’s comfortable isn’t always what’s best. I think teams work better irl. A schedule from an outside force is helpful. And separation of home and work is great. Hybrid would be perfect.

@shriyanevatia Also, if he has a strong regulatory background create target companies/industries and start networking into them. If strong litigation background try to narrow it to which industry the experience is in and again target those companies. (I’ve been in-house for 15yrs happy to chat)
@shriyanevatia Transitioning to a more established tech company will help before trying to get to early stage. Candidly he likely doesn’t have the in-house mindset an early stage company needs yet, so bigger company will be a good initial step. https://t.co/jAYOtwRyPa is helpful
@justingordon212 Since I was a kid, when I saw a gap my response was to solve for it. Now, I also love the idea of building a company people enjoy working at that serves a good to people’s lives.
