Hey,🌻

→ Freelancing
Say hi & let's grow together #Connect
Not everyone in tech needs a big circle but you do need the right people.
• A mentor who’s been there and can guide you
• Someone who genuinely believes in your potential
• A friend who tells you the uncomfortable truth, not just what you want to hear
• People walking the same path, so you don’t feel alone in the grind
Tech is a long game. If your circle is wrong, the journey gets twice as hard. Choose your people wisely.
You don't need to go back to university to become a software engineer.
You already have a degree which is a huge advantage. What matters most in software engineering is your skills, projects and ability to solve problems.
I'd recommend spending the next 6–12 months learning a specific area of software engineering either web development, mobile development, backend, AI, anyone and start building real projects and sharing your progress publicly probably here on X.
Many successful software engineers studied completely unrelated courses. Your agriculture degree won't stop you from getting opportunities if you become genuinely good at the craft.
If your goal is to become employable as a software engineer, I'd invest the time and money in learning, building projects, networking and gaining experience rather than pursuing another full university degree.
Focus on skills first. The degree is not the bottleneck Emmanuel .
