I want you to know Nigeria can never be better. Here is why:
First of all, it will take 100 years of education to decolonise the mind.
20 years of reinforcement of identity through brute and force. Just like Mao did in China.
Some people have to be captured and imprisoned and uses as forced labour for doing one crime having a foreign mindset.
If you put Israel, USA, or UK first before Nigeria you should be in prison or expelled from the country.
Before the slow progress.
You also have to destroy institutionalized religion. Burn down churches and mosques and make religion personal.
You can practice religion privately never publicly. Make evangelism a crime.
Before all these happen naturally, Nigerians must have already killed themselves in a tribal conflict or a religious conflict.
You just made your first $1M. Your brain immediately jumps to the bigger house, the nicer car, that business idea you’ve been itching to execute.
Resist all of it, that instinct is exactly why most people who come into money are broke again within a few years.
The move nobody teaches you: do nothing.
Let it sit. Don’t deploy it, don’t try to flip it, don’t show it off. Park it somewhere safe that pays you while you think. Lock it into a 2–3 month yield-bearing instrument e.g T-bills, low-risk positions, safe and battle-tested protocols.
You’re not trying to get rich off it; you’re already there. You’re buying yourself time to think clearly and getting paid to do it.
Run the numbers. $1M at just 5% APR:
→ $50,000 a year → $4,167 a month → $137 a day
Every day you wake up, $137 landed in your account. You didn’t touch your principal. You didn’t lift a finger, and if that 5% compounds daily, you’re closer to $51,200 a year, the money starts making money on the money.
So before you spend a single dollar or naira, ask yourself one question: can this purchase pay for itself from the interest alone? If yes, you’ve earned it. If no, you’re eating your seed.
Anyone can GET money. Keeping it is a different skill entirely and it starts with the discipline to sit still while everyone expects you to splurge.
Sometimes parking it and letting it pay you is the best play ever. This is from experience, don’t joke with your once-in-a-lifetime SEED when it comes your way.
Oil extraction companies in 🇳🇬Nigeria:
Chevron- 🇺🇸USA
ExxonMobil- 🇺🇸USA
Shell- 🇬🇧Britain
ENI- 🇮🇹 Italy
TotalEnergies- 🇫🇷France
Moral of the story, 🇺🇸AMERICA, 🇬🇧BRITAIN n 🇫🇷FRANCE IS STEALING NIGERIA'S WEALTH n IMPOVERISHING THE PEOPLE
European imperialism is keeping Nigerians poor.
If you know you are planning on moving to Abuja and you have a car and you are planning to get a house in one of the settlements in Abuja, this post is for you.
Before you pay for that house, kindly do your research about the area first, don't just pay because an agent showed you a nice house.
There are places where you can't park your car with your car battery overnight,it will be st0len from your car before you wake up.
There are places where car owners don't leave their car batteries in their cars, they always take it inside.
These places are places where these pantaker guys roam frequently, they are the ones that mostly carry out such acts.
So do your investigations before paying for that house.
You are welcome.
You baboons are in the qts talking about “marry a rich partner” or “don’t give birth if you’re not financially ready,” when the real blame should be on the useless government that has failed to provide basic, humane healthcare.
The reason Africa is poor is because we don’t choose our leaders. We are made to believe we choose them. African leaders are chosen in London, Paris & Washington.
JUST IN: 🇳🇬 IMF has told the Nigerian government to impose fuel and telecom taxes on Nigerians, to increase government revenue.
Nigeria is currently the number 1 country with the lowest quality of life.
Growing up, I believed elders were naturally wiser, more honest, and more responsible.
What I’m seeing in Nigeria today has taught me that age and wisdom are not the same thing.
Character, integrity, and competence do not come with grey hair. They come from values.
I'm confused by this post. Nobody in this country is more aware of who they are, than Northerners. Centuries of intercultural marriages and trade between but the Hausas know they're different from the Fulanis.
But look at Igbos. Had Ebonyi or Enugu been carved out of the South East those states will today tell me they're not Igbos despite sharing my language, name, culture, and history. They'll deny all of that just the way some people from Rivers, Delta etc are doing today. These are the only Nigerians suffering an Identity crisis because everybody else across all the regions know who they are.
