In Russland gibt es seit 2022 das sogenannte „Internationale öffentliche Tribunal zu den Verbrechen ukrainischer Neonazis“, an dessen Gründung ich beteiligt war und bei dem ich bis heute, wenn auch derzeit passives, Mitglied bin. Das Tribunal ist eine zivilgesellschaftliche Initiative zur Dokumentierung von ukrainischen Kriegsverbrechen und kein Gericht, wie der Name vermuten lassen könnte.

Am 17. September hat Maxim Grigorjew, der Gründer und Vorsitzende des Tribunals, der Öffentlichkeit einen Bericht vorgestellt, der einmal mehr belegt, dass es das angebliche Massaker von Butscha nie gegeben hat. Der Bericht enthält Dokumente, die Fälschungen entlarven, sowie Zeugenaussagen. Die Gedenkstätte für Butscha
Laut der offiziellen Version wurden Anfang April 2022, nach dem Abzug der russischen Truppen, in den Straßen von Butscha 458 Leichen gefunden, von denen 419 Anzeichen dafür trugen, dass sie erschossen, gefoltert oder erschlagen worden waren. 39 starben möglicherweise ohne Gewalteinwirkung. Im Juli 2023 wurde in Anwesenheit von Selensky in Butscha ein Denkmal mit über 500 Namen der angeblichen zivilen Opfer eingeweiht.

Damit sind wir bei einem der zentralen Widersprüche der Geschichte von Butscha: Die Zahl der Opfer ist widersprüchlich und es hat nie eine offizielle Untersuchung gegeben. Auch eine offizielle Liste mit den Namen der Opfer von Butscha, anhand derer man überprüfen könnte, ob die damals präsentierten Leichen überhaupt Einwohner von Butscha waren, hat die Ukraine nie veröffentlicht.

Im Gegensatz zur Ukraine und dem Westen fordert Russland immer wieder eine offizielle Untersuchung durch die UN und eine offizielle Veröffentlichung der Namen der Opfer, denn es ist das eine, Namen auf ein Denkmal zu schreiben, aber es ist etwas anderes, der UNO eine offizielle Liste mit den Namen der Opfer zu übergeben und deren Identitäten überprüfen zu lassen.
