Rim Jim explores friendship, love, loyalty, and survival against the backdrop of crime, inspired by true incidents from the era. Drawing stylistic inspiration from Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya, Mani Ratnam”s Nayakan, acclaimed Vetrimaaran gangster dramas, and the character-driven storytelling associated with Quentin Tarantino’s cinema, the film promises an intense and unfiltered portrayal of life in that period.

The film stars Ajey Ved in the lead role, alongside Vrajna Pandya, Bitthiri Sathi, and Raj Thirandasu. Oscar-winning singer Rahul Sipligunj plays a pivotal role and contributes two impactful songs, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative.

Director Hema Sunder shared, “We wanted to strip away glamour and present the story in its most authentic form. Shooting with anamorphic lenses and noir-inspired framing allowed us to capture the grit, texture, and soul of the 1990s.”
