@marcusinstroud Hi Marcus, sorry to disappoint. We will be doing our burgers again in the future, it's just not possible currently with social distancing regulations in our kitchen.
It's an easy time to eat seasonally and sustainably. Our local growers are busy harvesting...
π± Organic & biodynamic onions and french beans from Fred at Close Farm, Tetbury (9 miles)
π± No-dig, pesticide free greens from Luke at Crackstone Barns, Minchinhampton (3 miles)
Go and see Louis and the team at the Butchery to get ready for tonight's BBQ...
We're members of the Pasture for Life Association, championing native breeds that are grass-fed and well looked after by local farming families.
A Jolly Nice place to have a Jolly Nice flat white (accompanied by an ice cream or sausage roll for good measure). We're looking forward to serving you safely at the Drive-Through π
Thursday and Friday are looking rather warm, so if you're planning something to look forward to then do visit The Fine Fish Company (by the yurts Thursday to Saturday 8am-2pm) for amazing fresh, sustainably sourced fish.
We're very pleased to have amazing 'no-dig' salad leaves grown by Luke at Crackstone Barns, less than 3 miles away. Luke is part of a new Stroud-based social enterprise Zerodig, rebuilding soil health and capturing CO2 with their growing methods. The salad leaves are delicious.

Barely any traditional farming is economically viable - because industrialised food processes create falsely low price levels that drive bad practice
Yes it can change (and is in many places)... and yes subsidies/environmental payments can help shape things for the better...
Welcome to our new airy and spacious new Farmshop yurts! Lots of Jolly Nice staples from Woefuldane Organic Milk to the very best curry pastes. There are some new things too, including store cupboard staples and even green cleaning products π
INTRODUCING THE JOLLY NICE DRIVE-THROUGH
We've all had to adapt during this crisis and we had to move our cafe to keep our team and customers safe. We're really proud to have come up with a Jolly Nice way to keep serving you all day, every day (8am - 7pm like the Farmshop).
ππ³π Here are some of the cook books weβre enjoying this summer. Thereβs so much delicious seasonal veg at the moment, the simplest salads can be amazing!
A really fascinating article - less food waste in our homes and a return to specialist shops like the butcher.

Have a lovely weekend supporting local businesses. We're here for shopping and takeaway for now and working hard behind the scenes on a few more adaptations...
We're very pleased to have a rainbow of heritage, insecticide-free tomatoes that make very easy, delicious salads. Gary Griffiths and family have grown dozens of varieties since 1979, from the bite-sized 'Couer de Pigeon' ('Pigeon Heart') to larger 'Couer de Boeuf' ('Ox Heart').
π Our Fruit & Veg team have been rather busy in the past few months and our displays are bigger, better and more colourful than ever - with no unnecessary packaging...
