The next generation of Apple Intelligence powers an entirely new Siri: making the apps and experiences you rely on across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro more personal and helpful than ever.
The demos of Siri AI are very grounded in personal context. So you can talk to Siri and bring in real-world knowledge, but it also finally does the things you'd expect: Searches your messages, contacts, Maps history, etc. And it can take actions in these same places: Add photos to albums, send iMessages, add events to calendar, add reminders, etc. Good baseline stuff.
Seeing a number of benchmarks showing Opus is the best model for long-running work.
Five tips for running Opus autonomously for hours/days:
1. Use auto mode for permissions, so Claude doesn’t ask for approval
2. Use dynamic workflows, to have Claude orchestrate hundreds/thousands of agents to get a task done
3. Use /goal or /loop, to nudge Claude to keep going until it’s done
4. Use Claude Code in the cloud, so you can close your laptop (easiest way is the desktop or mobile app)
5. Make sure Claude has a way to self-verify its work end to end: Claude in Chrome browser extension for web, iOS/Android sim MCP for mobile, a way to start the full web server or service for backend work
THIS GUY LIVES UNDER SFO'S TAKEOFF PATH SO HE BUILT A CEILING PROJECTOR THAT TRACKS EVERY PLANE FLYING OVER HIS HOUSE IN REAL TIME
he uses a cheap $30 radio receiver to pick up the signals that planes broadcast while flying.
then projects them onto his ceiling in real time
when a jet flies over his house you hear it outside and at the exact same moment a plane glides across his ceiling labeled with the airline, aircraft type, and destination
pure black background so the projector's rectangle disappears and only the aircraft are visible
but he didn't stop at planes
it also draws the real sky behind them. sun, moon, bright stars, constellations, and live satellites including the ISS. all at their true positions for his exact location and time in real time
so he's lying in bed watching the actual night sky projected onto his ceiling with real planes crossing through it as they take off from SFO
there is a huge market for every man alive that runs outside to see the helicopter
vibe coded the whole thing himself with a cheap radio, a projector, and some clever software
The Universal Control demo from WWDC21 is still one of the craziest Apple keynote moments ever.
I remember watching it live and being completely blown away

"Makers often focus on the shiny object—the product they’re building—and forget about the rest of the journey until they’re almost ready to deliver it to the customer. But customers see it all, experience it all. They’re the ones taking the journey, step-by-step."

Tbh my HW3 I think drives a bit better than HW4. Minus self parking after a drive, starting from a stopped position, and some other minor features I feel HW3 is more confident when changing lanes, smoother at turns, and more natural in bumper to bumper traffic. HW4 felt overly cautious and actually causes a bit more interventions when I rented a Model 3 for a couple of months.
