Twitter is a ghastly swamp with some nice people in it. I try not to get dragged in but don’t always succeed unfortunately. It does however, have some stuff that interests me and I store it, for free, on my feed. It’s for my benefit & I hope not to offend.
Mental folic acid drug amounts in common foods, and how just 2 of these can take you over 2016 SACN adult recommended amount of 200mcg.
Large pizza overdose of 562 mcg anyone?
3 digestive biscuits? 56.25 mcg...
Greggs sausage rolls 71.25 mcg
Big Mac 84.4mcg
LAB MADE DRUG.
That's funny because at my last strategy meeting with my accountant, they informed me I must use HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital compatible software, creating an oligopoly for firms like Xero.
I must now also report my company's income every three months rather than once a year, as well as a final report at year end.
So I now have to pay for a Xero subscription.
And pay my accountant more for the increased submissions.
And fuck about with reconciling every three months, rather than once a year.
For HMRC to end up with the same amount of income from me as before.
Fuck off.
Just fuck off.
Fuck off all the way back to Yorkshire, then fuck off some more.
WHO's Behind the Global Folic Acid Fortification Agenda?
On 21st October, @ukmfa1 CEO, Dr Liz Evans, appeared as a guest presenter on @ukcolumn News to give viewers an update on the UK’s Folic Acid Flour Fortification mandate, and to present her deep dive into the global players pushing this toxic agenda.

🚨 Do NOT piss on me and tell me it’s raining!
I refuse to listen to ideology from globalists who supported this bollocks. You want to know why our fishing fleet is on its knees??? I’ll tell you….. (yes I’m furious)
▪️ 52% of our registered fishing vessels have gone since 1994. Decades of quota restrictions and vessel decommissioning has destroyed the fleet.
▪️ Extended EU fishing access to British waters until 2038.
▪️ Allowed foreign industrial SUPERTRAWLERS to operate legally in British marine protected areas. Greenpeace documented 26 fishing across 44 protected areas over 5 years. (Labour say there is no definition of a super trawler so they can’t do anything)
▪️ Kept fishing quotas tied to historical allocations. Around 87% of England’s 2026 quota was distributed through this system.
▪️ Agreed to a 44% CUT in North Sea cod quota for 2026 amid serious concerns about depleted fish stocks.
▪️ Imposed additional post-Brexit export paperwork, health certification and border checks on our seafood exporters.
▪️ Introduced further fishing-ground restrictions, with proposals affecting another 41 English marine protected areas.
▪️ Watched fishing diesel prices DOUBLE since March, leaving some British boats unable to cover the cost of going to sea.
▪️ Provided no equivalent emergency fuel-price grants to those offered by France, despite repeated industry appeals.
▪️ Imported almost 190,000 TONNES of seafood from CHINA in 2025, much of it whitefish.
We are an ISLAND NATION! We have our own seas, our own fish and our own fishermen (who we treat like remedials)
Our own policies have helped shrink our fleet, and don’t even talk to me about food security!
This is what happens when you put everyone else first before your own country. We are not here to fund all humanity … we are Britain!
(Actually furious)
@SadiqKhan One of the things that make you British is accepting the democratic vote of the people. One of the things that make you undemocratic is doing your utmost to foil the democratic wish of the people.
🇫🇷 Leaked French euthanasia documents admit death can take up to 11 hours of agony
Working documents from France’s High Authority for Health (HAS) have leaked, revealing protocols for medical staff on euthanasia and assisted suicide.
Contrary to public promises of “instant and painless death,” the papers admit that in up to 20% of cases, death takes more than five hours. Some cited studies show intervals of 6 to 11 hours.
They also detail risks of oral drug failure, including vomiting, that require emergency intravenous injections.
These clinical risks and the possibility of “prolonged agony” were deliberately withheld from parliamentarians during the debates.
France legalized euthanasia and assisted suicide in summer 2026. The law was passed by the National Assembly and signed by President Macron.

@ZackPolanski Let’s import North Sea gas from Norway instead, increase co2 emissions and miss out on all the tax instead. You really are a solid gold idiot.
As the UK government has decided to add folic acid to all non-wholemeal flour from December 2026 and this has provoked a lot of controversy, including a popular (>100,000 signatures so far) petition raised by @ClareCraigPath asking for the policy to be overturned, I thought I'd try to write a thread in plain English explaining what it's all about for anyone new to the topic.
I'll try to be as objective as I can and point you at scientific references so you can go and read more if you want - or if you are one of those people who only trusts "the experts" and calls anyone who reads things and thinks for themselves a "conspiracy theorist" 🙄.
But if you really are an expert and find something wrong here, feel free to quibble in the comments 🙂
And I'm sure I'll miss something important so feel free to add that too...
I'll try to cover these points:
1⃣What is folic acid and what is folate?
2⃣Why is folate important?
3⃣Why is it being added to non-wholemeal flour?
4⃣What are the potential benefits?
5⃣What are the potential risks?
6⃣Why is this a bad policy that needs to be overturned?

Parking should be straightforward, not another everyday hassle.
Today we’re putting the brakes on rip-off parking charges - meaning drivers get a fairer deal, protections from being unfairly charged, and confidence that private parking providers are held to a higher standard.
It's yet another step forward in this government’s plan to take the stress out of everyday life and ease the pressure on people's pockets.
