Worth keeping an eye on this thread.
Don't be fooled.
Don't believe everything you're seeing online just because it fits with what you *want* to be true.
@questionposting P.S. fun re-read game is to review the coloring choices in this issue. Morrison has confirmed a conscious choice throughout to color the issue symbolically in accordance with the Spiral Dynamics schema
@questionposting Look up Spiral Dynamics. It's explicitly identified as this version of Vic's guiding ideology. SD can *seem* complicated AF, but at its core is the capacity for all "colors" to be simultaneously present at varying levels in individuals/groups. very much not Objectivism.
@War_Kittens I honestly have no idea, but now I'm curious.
Conflict of interest warning: The hospital system I work for shares a parent company with RC.
@War_Kittens@LarsTheWanderer THANK YOU. I've been trying to make this case for years. Plenty of reasonable minded, centerist to left-leaning Gen X folks out there, but Gen X-ers (many now in their early 60s) are also a core part of the present iteration of the Republican party.
@heyyguido Just finished my own ER shift (in, I will guess, a different city, but who knows), and hoping she was able to be seen.
With what you're describing, I'm concerned about neurologic effects; causes can be tough to nail down, but narrow things enough and it can get very treatable
@csbg@TheRock The Rock as Black Adam and John Cena as Peace Maker vs Tyler Mane as Sabertooth and Dave Bautista as Drax in a DC vs Marvel Tag-Team match
@Brian_Cronin **I'm specifically thinking here of the in-story impacts of Claremont trying to navigate the Wolverine ongoing series of his absence on the rest of the team. Seriously, Storm's "death". The Siege Perilous. The Reavers.
@Brian_Cronin *Context: my mind is on, "historically," as I'm up to the 1st appearance of Gambit in a re-read of ALL of Uncanny and Claremont's mutant work from 1963 forward.
