DOL's onerous H-2A rule prevents American farmers and ranchers from meeting their critical workforce needs. Proud to join @IntFreshProduce, @FarmBureau, @American_Hort, and others to fight against it and help American agriculture grow and prosper.

@RealJamesWoods If you watched Sportscenter this morning, Dabo Swinney received more probing interview questions and tougher follow ups than Harris and Walz did Thursday evening.
Yesterday marks the 49th Anniversary of the Fall of Saigon. Congress needed 23 days to provide resettlement funding for our allies in SE Asia and 2.5 years to help these people become permanent residents.
2 years and 9 months have passed since Kabul's fall. Many Afghan allies and their families remain in immigration status limbo.
Congress must do right by our allies from our nation's longest war. The FY25 NDAA provides our leaders with the opportunity to honor the commitments we made to our Afghan allies and allow them to fully rebuild their lives in their new home: the U.S.A.
Our Afghan allies sacrificed everything to stand by our side in our nation's longest war. While there is more work to be done, the additional 12k SIVs that will hopefully be included in the forthcoming appropriations package will not only help our Afghan allies rebuild 1/2
For those wondering what this means.
First -- it doesn't mean anything is done...yet. The language still needs to be released AND it needs to path both houses. That said, this bill is a negotiated deal that SHOULD get through.
Second -- 12,000 isn't enough, but it's a start.
It is unfortunate that many members of the House of Representatives are so indifferent to the workforce challenges plaguing their constituents back home. #saveH2B
H-2B Workforce Coalition statement on recent House Appropriations developments.
The H-2B Workforce Coalition is disappointed over Wednesday night’s turn of events. While we appreciate that the House of Representatives chose to include the status quo on H-2B cap relief,
the returning worker provisions that were considered before the House Appropriations Committee would have provided much more workforce certainty for the businesses we represent.

@ianmiles I think we should significantly increase legal immigration.
If someone has a track record of working hard and hasn’t committed crimes, they should be welcomed.

Agreed @AlexNowrasteh - this piece is on point. My only quibble is with my preference for the original Eric Stratton credo...”Otter” got it right the first time
We’re proud to lead a coalition of business and higher education plaintiffs in a suit challenging DHS and DOL rules restricting high-skilled immigration. @Forbes has the latest: https://t.co/CarHQEEE3l

@greggnunziata I lived the inverse of this story ~3yrs ago. My son prefers the nuttier flavor of Romano cheese and he would accept no substitutes on his penne.
Must read today in @nytimes: Our CEO Tom Donohue on our lawsuit with @ShopFloorNAM, @NRFnews and others to stop the administration's new #immigration restrictions.

@VirginiaDMV Why has your customer service line been busy since 10am this morning? You can't spring for call waiting? At 9:15, you at least had the decency to let me wait for a service operator before my call dropped. It's been crickets since-what gives?
