@arseniycodes I tried it and it’s a cool concept but the problem is that the formatting gets screwed up when you convert to editable PowerPoint and you can’t embed excel charts in the slides
@thsottiaux Visualizing comments in word and PowerPoint so you can edit in codex, deep research in codex, more surgical editing in PowerPoint while maintaining company’s design system, ChatGPT memory, better visualization of PowerPoint slides in codex preview window (poor for large files).
@thsottiaux Great model. Codex should have a Claude Cowork equivalent that focuses on non-developer workflows and integrates some of the GPT 5.4 models that are better at writing. Also, seamless integration between ChatGPT and Codex (e.g. ChatGPT deep research can trigger a Codex API call).
@thsottiaux Codex integration with ChatGPT. For example, when asking ChatGPT a research question this could automatically trigger codex to execute an api call to pull data to help support that response.
@dlevine815 Also, better at separating context or automatically sorting chats into buckets or projects - sometimes it blends two of my separate projects together if I just use the general chat
1) Agent mode should be able to download data files off the web for websites (some don’t have api) and should be able to go into developer tools and scrape json from web charts where you can’t download them 2) create professional consulting style slide decks with nuance and multiple shapes on each slide 3) handle larger excel file sizes (>50 MB) (ideally 1 GB or greater) if you want to communicate with your data 4) be able to download the correct footnotes and endnotes in word format when you ask it to produce a word doc 4) ChatGPT pro should be able to produce word docs you can download (I am not able to download these when using pro) 5) better memory 6) datawrapper integration
Great piece by @nytimes on rethinking our industrial strategy. America accounts for only 17% of global manufacturing, while China dominates. We need close alliances to win the AI race and build rare earth supply chains—we can't do it alone.

Heading south on Amalfi Dr starting at Romany Dr and ending just north of Sunset Blvd in the Riviera neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. One or two homes appear to have burned but most are ok. Riviera Country Club and the houses bordering it appear to be ok. I did not go north of Romany Dr but it is very possible there is more damage up there. All the homes along Amalfi Dr south of Sunset Blvd seem fine. Video taken January 9, 2025 5:00PM PST. #PalisadesFire #PalisadesWildfire
