@Jennife01646883@dieworkwear If you live on an island far away from everyone else, that's sort of understandable to believe you're the best, but when you live close to others it's narcissistic and cringe. The world-cup fans show pride but with a sense of humor and self-distance.
@IanDarke It's really weird. It's actually different brands that - for reasons unknown - all decided to go for pink this year, and it's impossible to distinguish them. Pr money down the toilet.
@BeckBronson62@amelia_tweetz I didn't go to watch the world cup, but I'm soon to enjoy my month of summer vacation before starting my paternity leave. Back to work in March!
@End_Times_33@MsMelChen Except it's just BS. There are thousands of midsummer parties just like the one in NYC every midsummer in Sweden. Immigrants participate too btw.
Sweden has a comperatively low population, are one of the handful european countries where another sport (hockey) takes more elite athletic talent. Have made 9 world cup appearances since 1970 Being one of 2 countries single digit million counties to take a medal.
@Acquired_Savant Given the size of the US, it's quite possible. It wouldn't be good for the sport but then again I think dö social media and computer games are the larger threats. Will kids of the future want to spend their time playing any sport?
