🚨 Our first ad of the cycle is here! 🚨
From Ardentown to Rehoboth Beach - I got to visit every corner of our great state on our 57 in 57 tour.
As your official Democratic nominee, I am in Congress for you, and this campaign is for everyone. Delaware, let’s do this!
It seems, from all reporting, that ICE today
- shot someone who was not attempting to run them over but, rather, "flee the scene"
- was not the person they were looking for
- who had a 3yr old in the car
- who they dragged out into the street
- all while not wearing body cams
Wow. Even DHS doesn't say the driver tried to hit their agents. They shot and killed a father in front of his wife and child simply because he drove away.
On July 13, 2026, at approximately 7:00 AM ET, ICE was conducting targeted surveillance on the last known address of an illegal alien with a final order of removal. An illegal alien departed the residence in a vehicle. ICE law enforcement attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. The vehicle attempted to flee the scene and, fearing for public safety, an officer discharged his weapon.
The driver of the vehicle was struck, and emergency services were immediately contacted. He passed away from his injuries.
The Biddeford Police Department and FBI responded to the scene. DHS OIG has been notified and like all discharge of firearms this will be investigated. This is a developing situation, and we will update the public when more information is available.
objectively, this is a video of a car slowly turning and ICE agents walking alongside it. maybe there is more video out there. but hard to understand how we could end up with ANOTHER deadly shooting here
Platner needs to drop out ASAP - these are awful, credible allegations.
Said on the pod after the (also credible) June NYT story that his biggest problem going forward would be credibility. It's now abundantly clear that he just hasn't been honest about his past and can't be trusted as a candidate for office.
Saving grace is that the party can find a replacement by the 27th as long as he drops by the 13th, which I very much assume he will.
“What greater form of patriotism is there than the belief that America is not yet finished, that we are strong enough to be self-critical?”
- the most popular political figure in America, and it’s not even close
America is a constant work in progress. Every generation must take up the unfinished work of the last and carry it further—protecting what’s right, fixing what’s wrong, and making our union a little more perfect. 250 years later, that’s more important than ever.

Still waiting for you to cite a specific passage - any passage - that supports your claim that Mamdani “despises” America. You can criticize Mamdani’s policies, his politics, and his 4th speech - but accusing him, or anyone, of “despising” America is pretty gross and irresponsible, and I think you know better than that.
At our best, we have never been a nation of fear.
We have been a nation of love — a love that heals rather than wounds, that lifts up the poor and the stranger instead of grinding them down, and that can look at a migrant child’s grave and still refuse to call it someone else’s problem.
I believe the broken system that afflicts all of us can be repaired. It has to be, if the words “liberty and justice for all” are ever going to mean what they say.
Two hundred and fifty years in, that remains the American experiment.
Not the flag, not the fireworks, but the wager that a people can pledge their lives and their fortunes and their honor to one another — and to those still out on the water, reaching for the shore. https://t.co/80KaARbzSc
And I would love you to explain your previous tweet and not change the subject because you realized that you didn’t in fact read the speech before commenting on it.
I would LOVE to hear you ask Talarico, Cooper, Brown, Turek, and Petola if they would like Mamdani's endorsement, fundraising support, or help in their races!
Why on earth wouldn't those Democrats want to be associated with Mamdani, right?
For the life of me, I can't imagine why.
Two months shy of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, this is what New York City’s mayor has to say on the 4th of July?
Mamdani is unwell.
But it should terrify Democrats that we now constantly have to defend and explain his behavior and rhetoric—and grapple with the political impact his frequent condemnations of the very country our voters call home, and do not despise the way he seems to.
Back when Ady Barkan could still speak, I filmed him canvassing across the country. Even though he was losing his voice, he never lost faith in the people or democracy. I'm remembering Ady today, as to me, he represents the best of what America can be.

You’ve said and done things over the last few years I find abhorrent, but I would never call for your denaturalization and deportation, no matter how much power I had.
Loving America means respecting the Constitutional rights and freedoms of all our fellow citizens, even if we don’t like and respect them.
Happy 4th
