Increasingly have less and less to say here. Definitely feels more like doom scrolling every time I open the app, so I’m locking, unfollowing everyone minus Destiny 2 official accounts since that’s still the easiest way to stay up to date, and won’t be posting anymore.
@ATT if you all didn’t want to provide service to my new address, I would’ve appreciated you saying as much instead of placing me on a forever hold to “customer retention”.
@Steam_Support Jedi Survivor has become literally unplayable on my PC once I left the first world. Refund keeps getting declined citing that any games that exceed 2hrs of playtime are non refundable when that's absolutely untrue. You have refunded games that exceed that limit.
@Bungie price increase for seasons is understandable but no corresponding update to silver bundle pricing leaves this reeking of predatory pricing. 1200 silver is conveniently just above the 1100 bundle and leaves people overpaying to get an unnecessary currency.

1/5th the face width is the traditional spacing for drawer knobs. That plus 4/7ths the drawer face height gives a proportional location for knobs/pulls. Just one of many uses of the sector.
Waiting on drawer hardware, so it was the perfect time to make a tool: a sector. Essentially just two sticks attached with a hinge (between 2-3ft long), divided into 13 equal sections (stepped out from the rear of the hinge pin).
It’s used to get proportional measurements from things without the need of math/unit based measurements. Line up the ‘10’s on the bottom corners of a drawer front, and then I can set my dividers to span across the ‘2’s, giving me a 1:5 proportion.
Fit all the drawer bottoms today. I love the dichotomy of working on them. I never clean up the underside of the panels (and even go so far as to leave glue squeeze out) because it will never be seen but I hand bevel the slot for the screw to match the countersink with a chisel.
Milling pine for drawer bottoms today. Bag was empty when I started, but the garage smells nice. All that’s left is to trim to width and glue up the panels.
Little over an hr later and the sides have a flat face an edge again (need a trip through the planer to get to final size). Sticking with maple in the future 😅
