@SimonCalder what would be your advice in terms of getting @British_Airways to be a little more understanding? Booked holiday on Sunday to Dubai, failed PCR on Monday so cannot fly and isolating. Been given two options

No voucher as it is too late apparently. Despite website saying you can modify booking and cancel free of charge.
Option 1 - cancel, get tax and claim via insurance for rest.
Option 2 - rebook but get charged £200 to do so.
Can you help?
