@MartinSLewis
Question. Is the provision of only a Class A Courtesy Car by insurers in effect not treating everyone equally?
Our 5 person family will not fit in that car. The garage wants our car for a week, we would need to rent another car to be able to all together.
@RantyHighwayman I think you missed the very intentional ‘hope’ above. If the conditions were drafted correctly then it will have specific requirements for the maintenance which if they are not followed then the council can step in and charge the landowner.
But I’m not optimistic
@RantyHighwayman But the park is being built as per the planning permission.
What the council have done is not burden it’s self with an annual maintenance bill (in 5yrs time) of £180k + inflation.
The park is secured and maintained.
Now I haven’t read the S106 but….
@TMytton_ Just to be clear you are complaining that, on officers recommendation, the council chose not to take on the cost of maintaining the park, £180k pa (ex inflation) in 5years, whilst retaining the park in perpetuity (as it has planning control over it)?
Those early Scot Schmidt segments back in the 80’s were truly mind blowing for their time 🤯
