@Mythical My wife was watching your recent "What is the Best Watermelon Snack" episode and said you mentioned seedless watermelon is GMO. Being the plant breeder that I am I couldn't help but educate.

Seedless watermelon actually isn't a GMO!

It is, however, a sterile triploid hybrid cross between tetraploid and a diploid parents. This actually occurs in nature as well. The bananas we eat are the same thing, but were also cultivated to be more appealing to humans Most banana types have large seeds.
