I've never asked people to share a Live Free episode before.
I would ask you to share this episode we did on @jamestalarico (that's pushing ~700k views across all platforms).
What he's doing requires a level of theological awareness to understand, which is why he's deceptive to a lot of Christians.
@BasedMikeLee Luke 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Where's the "consent" part again?
Since I’m going to be hearing this for the next 6 months as a Texas voter, let me answer the question:
“You would vote for an adulterer over James Talarico? That’s not very Christian.”
Here’s the truth: I would rather vote for almost anyone else who is going to at least advocate for conservative *policies* over a literal heretic who wears my faith like a skin suit, advocates for policies that harm children, endorses immorality and generally harm society.
Ken Paxton has personal baggage. I don’t deny that. But Talarico has plenty too — and he openly mocks God’s law and treats Jesus as a political mascot all while pushing a radical far-left agenda that would be a disaster for my state.
You see, I’m an adult. I do not expect those who are seeking political office to be my moral superiors or even trustworthy. They are tools to be used to do the least amount of damage via policy.
I wish more pastors and men who live godly lives were running. I really do. But the options we get are what they are.
Paxton supports secure borders, law enforcement, lower taxes, unleashing American energy, the Second Amendment, just to name a few.
Talarico supports unlimited abortion, trans-ing children, higher taxes, government-run “healthcare,” and is incredibly comfortable blaspheming the word of God.
I’m not voting for a priest. I’m voting for an imperfect person to represent my interests. That’s how it works.
You’re not going to guilt trip Texans into supporting a looney tunes candidate like Talarico. Paxton will win by 5+.
It’s about policy, not personality.
@EWErickson If Christian’s listen to advice such as yours, they will hand this country over to evil doers while at the same time feeling spiritual about it. What terrible stewardship of God’s grace and mercy. (3)
@EWErickson Ahasuerus was an evil man. Haman was an evil man. The Jews stood with the lesser of 2 evils. We’re not voting on the next pastor. We’re voting for a political office. It would be nice to have better choices to choose from, but choose regardless and pray. (2)
@EWErickson Should we also flee to monasteries? Should we unplug completely like the Amish?
King Ahasuerus and Haman would’ve been terrible choices to chose between. But Esther, Mordecai, and the rest of the Jews took the side of Ahasuerus simply because he allowed them their freedom. (1)
One of the more ignorant things I hear people say is "Billionaire's pay no taxes."
Usually this is said by someone who thinks we should tax people on the growth of their net worth. The guy who owns a tech company didn't make a billion dollars, even though his net worth went up to a billion dollars. He just owns something that is theoretically worth that much.
It's a really bad idea to start taxing people for the growth of their businesses and its a worse idea to assume that those businesses don't bring in tax revenue.
Consider all the ways a business contributes to taxes (on top of giving actual jobs to thousands of people):
1. Every person who works for that company pays taxes on their income.
2. Every transaction that happens in the company is taxed. I.e. in a data center, taxes are paid for the sand being sold to the silcon company, for the silicon being sold to the chip company, for the chip company selling the chips to the company that manufactures boards, for every gallon of gas that was used to bring concrete to the site. There are literally millions of taxable transactions that wouldn't happen if that business wasn't growing.
3. Should the owner of the business actually cash out on their business, that income is some of the most heavily taxed income in the country.
So let's say in the name of punishing the billionaires, we start taxing the growth of businesses (which is what a tax on net worth gains actually is) - if that slows the growth of those businesses - you risk actually losing billions of dollars in tax revenue, losing thousands of jobs, and - here is the thing most people don't think about - it's going to affect the school teachers, police officers and fireman - the regular people whose retirement is based on owning small pieces of growing businesses.
If we slow that growth in the name of "making billions pay their fair share" then it's going to affect a lot more than just the super rich - it's going to pull billions from tax revenue, remove thousands of jobs and affect the bottom line of lots of relatively poor people.

Some of this is really disturbing to hear. But what @RepBrandonGill does during this hearing on ab*rtion is important.
I want to show what a SEARED conscience looks like and what Satan does to deceive people on issues like ab*rtion.
Get into your Bible.
I'm a mental health therapist, and I charge two hundred bucks an hour. That is average for my profession.
People often come to me for anxiety and depression
For my Christian clients, the ultimate reason their depression or anxiety goes away isn't because of me, but because by the end of therapy, they are reading their bibles and applying Christian values to their lives. Daily.
Read your dusty Bible and your mental health issues will improve.
Don’t Miss A Great Awakening!
Mally and I took some of our children and grandchildren to see the new movie produced by Sight and Sound – A Great Awakening.
We all loved it! It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It’s emotional and very convicting—a movie about the life of the famous preacher George Whitefield. I was so thrilled our family could see this. I encourage every family to find a theater near you that is showing it and do not miss it! It may only be in theaters for another few days or so—it’s in about 1,000 theaters through this weekend.
A GREAT AWAKENING tells the true story of an unlikely friendship that resulted in one of the most defining moments in American history. With the colonies on the brink of collapse, the Reverend George Whitefield sparks the First Great Awakening, uniting an entire generation with his thundering proclamation of liberty in Christ. In a miraculous turn of events, one of Whitefield’s closest friends and greatest promoters becomes none other than Benjamin Franklin. With the nation’s freedom hanging in the balance, Franklin discovers true liberty cannot only be written into law—it must be awakened in the hearts of the people.
The film will be available for rentals/purchases mid-May, but if you can go and experience it on the big screen, I urge you to do so. Warning: It will create a great awakening in you! It convicted me to be even more bold about proclaiming God’s Word and the gospel and calling out the error of church leaders leading people astray!

🚨You Will Miss Trump When He Is Gone – A Bold Warning to My Fellow Conservatives:🚨
One day soon, when Democrats retake the White House, we’re going to look back and pray for times like these.
We’ll watch as religious freedoms are stripped away — pastors forced to turn over their sermons, churches targeted, and faith under siege.
We’ll see X and other free platforms fined into silence or censored.
We’ll face wave after wave of massive gun control laws disarming law-abiding Americans.
We’ll endure multiple wars raging around the world, sky-high taxes crushing the middle class under the banner of “tax the rich,” and a push for universal healthcare that tanks our economy.
And in those dark days, many of us will deeply regret the disunity, the endless complaining, and the attacks on this President — Donald J. Trump.
Mark my words: Just like after the first Trump term, when the world cheered to see him gone and Biden made everything worse… history will repeat.
You will pray for the Trump offense. You will long for this fighting spirit.
You will miss Trump when he is gone.
I love you, Mr. President. Stay strong. America needs you.

@thatsKAIZEN It’s hyperbole, bro. He does it all the time. He even tweets IN ALL CAPS. Why? He’s over the top. Everything about him is and always has been over the top. It’s just how he rolls. Right now, he’s rolling over Iran.
@benjamincowen Brother, you gotta know that he speaks in hyperbole by now. He’s been doing this forever. When he says 100% tariffs, he actually means 10% tariffs when he says everyone will die, he means only the big bad guys will die. You can’t take the stuff that he says so seriously.
