Had a break from X, wasn’t sure if it would be permanent or not but I’ve been tempted back with the end of the season and summer window looming.
This is, however, a fresh account and I need to build my base back up. Any help by retweeting this would be appreciated.

Players in the squad that there are no rumours about that interest me:
Tyrone Mings
Leon Bailey
Ross Barkley
Emi Buendia
Big wages, all on contracts that expire in the summer of 2027.
Will any go this summer? or do they all get released next summer?

Feels like Rogers will leave #avfc once he's back in the UK.
Even with Youri going im relaxed about it, if slightly optimistic.
A proper refresh has been needed. Could it effect us a bit in the short term? no doubt - but you have to crack a few eggs to make an omelette
Onana - 22
Manzambi - 20
Diaby - 24
Maatsen - 22
Torres - 26
The ages of #avfc biggest signings with Emery as manager. When we have the ability to spend we sign younger players our squad has gotten older because of necessity as we cannot spend big that oftern
If we were operating a lean and cost/value efficient squad you'd feel a tad more justified in your outrage at the SCR hurdle we face.
For all this talk of #avfc having a low net spend - We spend far too much on players who don't add enough value and our wage bill is the issue.
Louie Barry was on around £40,000 a week and has taken a reduction to allow the move to Sheffield Wednesday, signing a 4 year deal. #AVFC didn’t receive the type of fee they would have got a year ago, but they hope he and Swinkels are the starting of raising funds through the academy
@Chrsmo Yep top money should be reserved for those we aim to beat others to the punch to because they will contribute considerably. See Kamara and Youri on free’s. Which is where our strategy has legs rather than Newcastle’s high fee approach. Good idea but mismanaged.
@BookofAEGIS I think the main thing everyone is totally neglecting which is the glaringly obvious point here.
This is the directorship of NSWE, not V Sports which is the actual ownership of Villa. Edens, Sawiris, Angelakis are all still directors.
NSWE as an entity is not so relevant.
@Trentvilla1@Dpn76 No, I just see it as news.
Not feeling any kind of way about it.
Other than I heard Rodri was a good ‘one on one’ coach so curious to if he will be replaced in that capacity.
@Trentvilla1 Emery was never with Paco previously, so hopefully it will be alright.
Fergie used to regularly change assistant managers in order to keep things fresh.
Clearly Pako is going to work with Alonso but I’m sure Chema Sanz is an adequate replacement.
Rodri confuses me more.
The Villarreal team that Emery took to the semi finals of the Champions League was full of Prem misfits. He’s also worked wonders with Lindelof and Barkley. Olabe also a specialist in rejuvenating stalled careers. #avfc
