Just a quick update on project progression.

So far I’ve secured the $45 USD price tag across multiple regions. Hopefully the UK too, EU will be a lot harder for me but I’m working on it.

There will be a white ver in winter/autumn at a 500x450 which will hopefully be priced like 4 dollars extra.

In terms of the surface, you’re getting a speed surface. I AM NOT PROMISING THE FASTEST EXPERIENCE, it will be a step behind the current speed demons at DYSPHORIA, Kyomi, abyss gaming etc.
It’s an Ion bonded coating surface designed for speed. Its textural qualities are minimal but you will be able to feel a slight micro texture under your skates depending on the skates you are applying. A durable coating so you don’t need to worry about “oh it’s cheap so it’ll wear quickly”. That isn’t the case, I am going to try and offer absolutely everything I can, of course it won’t be as good as premium offerings but it will be a good step for the budget scene in my opinion with reworks and improvements coming further down the line.

Intended to spend the holiday break building a Voron 2.4 350mm, but ended up spending my tinkering time prepping the K1 for ABS/ASA. Meticulously lined the entire inside with bubble foil insulation and tape; took a bit over 6 hours. Holds 55-60*c very well! Led to other issues...
