Several individuals have reached out asking me why I am working for Senator Darline Graham. It’s simple: she’s one of us. She helps people succeed. She’s not a politician. Yet, she has served the people of South Carolina for the past 25+ years.

On a personal note, my brother in law, Jimmy, has cerebral palsy. During her work at the commission, she worked to get employment for the blind and individuals like Jimmy. I am pleased that the Senate has come together in a strong, bipartisan fashion to pass the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026. I would especially like to thank @POTUS and my colleagues, @SenBlumenthal, @SenKatieBritt. @SenatorShaheen and @SenatorWicker, for helping make this a reality.

Russia has waged war against Ukraine for far too long, and this bill assists President Trump in his noble efforts to bring it to a close.

This legislation was deeply important to my brother, Lindsey, and I’m grateful that this bill has achieved such a wide coalition of support. He believed this was the most consequential piece of legislation that he had ever led, and I am proud to have carried the torch to the finish line.

Lindsey was committed to achieving a peaceful resolution to this war, and I’m confident that these sanctions will pave the way.

I was disappointed to see my friend, Russell Fry, falsely attack Senator Darline Graham after his shaky debate performance last night.

He knows, just as I do, that Senator Graham was fulfilling her responsibilities on the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she voted this morning to advance President Trump's nominee for Attorney General, Todd Blanche. Service comes before ambition.
