@mattyglesias I grew up just outside Detroit (long ago: HS class of 1970) but then moved away, and the first "Detroit-style" pizza I ever saw was in Austin about five years ago.

@WolverineChron I agree with that - but I think the track record of our coach finding good coaches, those coaches finding good players, and those - often underrated players - making an impact and getting to the next level gives me more comfort than the portal
