Perhaps the greatest discovery is that the highest beauty is in the ordinary and the mundane. It is a hell of a lot less stressful to find things amazing than always striving to make things perfect.

When you know you may lose what you had, cry. Loss sucks. Then remake the world. What you had was good and there is so much good in the world to be had.
The better you get at something, the more you believe. And, the more learning from the people around you matters. Confidence becomes depth with teammates. Confidence becomes arrogance alone.
