Parents! Chill out… Your child’s ability to play sports doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.
I have a son who isn’t very good at basketball. He likes to fish! I don’t care as long as he’s happy.
I’m living my life and I’m letting him live his.
Our youth system is beyond broken. We’ve devalued real coaches. Kids aren’t developed, they are overtrained, burned out, forced to specialize early & pressured to win at all costs. Structural change is needed. We don’t teach the game anymore! We promote the game & it’s killing us
I'm blessed to have been selected to play in the 2026 WBCA All-Star game. It means a lot to be part of something bigger than basketball, with funds supporting five charities across Wisconsin. Please consider donating. Thank you for your support! https://t.co/Q1JJb44LDk

Coach Walz talked about his journey coaching his son Riley in full in the interview #wisbb#wisgb
Tom Izzo is asked by @outkick’s @RealDanZak about media ripping him for being too tough on players and Charles Barkley’s defense of him, gives phenomenal answer on accountability. Watch this:
I asked Dan Hurley the same question I asked Tom Izzo: why does the media have a problem with coaches coaching players hard?
Hurley: "Society has gotten soft in a lot of ways... The real world is tough and cruel... I'm preparing my players for life."
