The “prefer libraries over frameworks” trope is both boring & wrong. I’ve seen plenty of framework-using codebases that are in GREAT shape after 5 years and shipping new features all the time. I’ve NEVER seen one using cobbled-together libraries in great shape after 5 years.

Reviewing a 5 year old Ember app. I was part of a duo tasked to quickly do so. At first i was like oh no, this is going to be insane. But it actually was not that bad. Why? Conventions. Organization. Well managed OSS, good commits, PRs, documentation, changelogs, etc

@CodingItWrong @flashios09 @emberjs You actually don't need the `fn` helper either here. That's only useful if you want to curry inside the template - otherwise just use the function. It's bound by the @action decorator in the JS file.

@alexkorban I just could not get on with Ramda. Collectively we found Ramda code was impossible to understand n 6 months. We've now backed it almost all out.
