Despite getting a call from the Chronicle asking if I am running for Supervisor, they didn’t publish it.
I want to be crystal clear so my thoughts are below:

The oligarchs and ultra wealthy are winning everywhere. The 1% of the wealthiest individuals own almost 50% of the world’s global wealth. And you can see what they are doing politically with all their contributions, especially right here in SF.
It’d be comical if it wasn’t painful for the average American. The lower you go on the income brackets the deeper the pain. I’ve always said this administration is pathetic but boy does it constantly outperform itself. #MAGA
“We jUsT nEeD tO BuILd bAbY BuILd” uh, no that alone doesn’t solve the commodification of a fundamental need. Yet local politicians in San Francisco been hollering that for 20+ years. Bought and sold by Developers, types, definitely won’t tell you that.
Wait until you feel the net effect that hasn’t even manifested with all the policy decisions made over the last year. That’s with only 53% of project 2025 completed to this point. Congratulations #MAGA you played yourself (and the rest of us).
"The Trump administration is reportedly considering a bailout for the United Arab Emirates over economic losses sustained as a result of the U.S. war with Iran," per the New Republic.
Allies and enemies remember Elberling as a “favorite curmudgeon” who wasn’t afraid to fight the city’s leaders for his beliefs. https://t.co/wT92juTvg9
But more personally for me, a mentor, a confidant, a fatherly figure, and a member of my family whose spirit I’ll cherish and keep alive.
I love you always, Captain. Forever People First.
San Francisco lost a towering figure, one of the most brilliant minds pushing the progressive movement. A devoted fighter for the betterment of our city, who made his life’s work “People First,” and lived the very values he carried until his final days.
