Hello 👋 What motivates you to build?

Im 28, from New Zealand and have an astonishing fear of letting people down especially if they’ve given me their time or money.

I’ve given Astra $100 a week and free reign over my ad spend to force me to build https://t.co/8uY8yIcipY while people start joining. 20 Signups and $200 spent so far and I've never been this motivated to keep making it better.

@phughes9000 Personally I have never used Grok as anything aside from a Google replacement when my ChatGPT or Claude usage is too high and I'm trying to save easy questions.

1. Jev checks if its a purely mechanical or subjective question

-> If purely mechanical tries to continue with jev predicting which input to manipulate.

-> If subjective "Make this bigger" Jev hands off to LLM via CLI such as OpenAi, That then gets the context history and disucsses with me what I mean by "Make this bigger" then it can either ask me more questions or trigger Jev again itself passing along the context we have refined such as "Zoom in on the text input" or something.

@madebypixels3 @framer Have you played around with shaders much or tinkered with game dev? There is so much potential and they juice up the experience in quite similar way to what you seem to have a knack with building.

@huzaifaa_23 @theo He mentioned briefly before that he has these all running on a VM permanently logged in. Then a router on that that he routes his requests to. So from a consumption side the user experience is similar to never switching accounts.

Very good call out ngl. That said people make woopsies when they get excited and Tibo has a lot of eyes on his woopsies. TBH I think this is just one of those cases. Looking back he probably didn't intention for people to blast through their budget and have nothing left. I imagine he was just trying to build hype.

@theo Genuinely have no motiviation to try it as Opus 5.5 limits are so generous on $200 plan and it crushes everything I throw at it. ALSO it is so so so much less verbose with the annoying subheadings everywhere type thing.

Opus 5.5 finally lets us do actual all day usage on a $200 plan again without resorting to a subpar model.

An hour of 3-4 threads on Opus 5.5 at xHigh = 5% of my 5 hour usage and ~1% of my weekly usage.
