ELON TEASES MAJOR X UPGRADE: REPLY RANKING TO SKYROCKET SOON

Elon just gave a thumbs-up to a fresh feature pitch for X: pinned replies, letting users spotlight the best comments right at the top of their threads for more eyes and better curation.

It all started with X staffer Dan suggesting it to highlight heartfelt shares in his guitar overshare posts:

"pinned replies... because of the awesomeness of some of the people sharing from their heart in my replies...

I would love to feature them directly with a pin to the top for more visibility and curate my reply sections for others."

Elon's response?

"Hmm ok. This is probably good. Reply ranking will get much better in the coming weeks."

This is a peek into X's big pivot to a fully AI-driven feed by late November 2025, powered by Grok to sift through millions of posts daily and serve up smarter, more relevant content.

Better reply ranking means ditching the noise, bumping quality convos, and maybe even letting users tweak their feeds with natural language prompts like "show more fun replies."

With bugs in the current algo already getting fixed, this upgrade could make threads way more engaging, cutting spam and boosting the good stuff.

If pinned replies drop too, creators get to curate like pros.

🇺🇸 ILLEGAL VENEZUELAN GANG MEMBER CHARGED WITH KIDNAPPING, SEXUAL ASSAULT IN CHICAGO

Pedro Colmenares, a 33-year-old illegal Venezuelan migrant and suspected Tren de Aragua gang member, is back in custody after being charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint in Chicago.

Colmenares, who was ordered deported in 2022, was previously released after prosecutors dropped initial charges, but new evidence—including videos and hospital records—led to his re-arrest.

A judge has now ordered him held without bail pending trial.
