That’s the other thing…everything went right for ND on Saturday.

- Boise State wins Mountain west, improving ND’s SOS/SOR

- BYU loses, preventing them from taking ND’s spot, but preserving a better case for #11 than by losing to a team they already played while Miami didn’t.

- Bama, the team they’ve been compared directly against the whole process, gets nothing less than embarrassed (for the second time this season) ensuring they drop behind ND.

That’s why ND is upset, they won the process, and had the rug pulled out from underneath them without any legitimate rationale.

Alabama JUMPS Notre Dame, swapping spots at 9 and 10.

Fast forward to this week, Alabama gets SMASHED by UGA, and ND doesn’t play.

Alabama stays at No. 9 and Notre Dame falls another spot to No. 11, despite the four teams behind them losing/not playing.

I don’t care if you think Notre Dame should’ve missed the playoff all along, but the committee just contradicted everything they stood for the past month.
