@AR_HouseSpeaker Thanks very much! We appreciate the enormous outpouring of support for @cavecityar which is helping us to support smaller communities around us!
Young or old, Republican, Democrat, or somewhere in between, the best, most helpful line from the SOTU was simple:
“You can’t love your country only when you win.”
God help us carry that forward into another ridiculous election year, full of derision and excessive division.
Appreciate my friend @rexnelson for promoting local governance in AR with these 3 recent columns, especially!

@arvalleyblue@JonesForAR Humane Society of Independence County is great, and just south and across the county line from us, but they are typically overwhelmed as it is.
@JonesForAR Preliminary discussions so far. Just looking at ways our cities might partner together to lower the cost and maximize any resources currently in place. A cooperative approach may be better in our case.
@TheDailyShow I watched John’s recap of the Trump-Biden rematch. I’d love to hop on the show and talk about what many of us mayors and other locally elected leaders are doing in the meantime! Real work, real progress, and no nonsense. It would be terrific. Reach out. Let’s talk.
@lauralandreaux my community of @cavecityar and our neighbor, Sidney, have a serious power issue. Can you please contact me directly today? (Jonas Anderson, Mayor)

I’m proud of my tech role with @VirtualArkansas these past few years, supporting thousands of students and teachers.
